Vitruvius Management Services, one of the region’s leading construction management consultants, has recruited a top Gloucestershire business investment expert as it plans for major post-pandemic growth in the region.
Barry Bodin-Jones has joined Gloucester-based Vitruvius as business development manager, strategically expanding the team on the back of recent success. Barry will harness opportunities as firms across the region reshape and rebuild as they emerge out of lockdown.
Barry spent six years at Gloucestershire’s local enterprise partnership GFirst LEP, most recently as projects and infrastructure manager. He worked with businesses to attract and retain world class companies and earn the county a reputation as a great place to do business. Before GFirst, Barry worked for building materials company Rockwool Group. Barry is a qualified project manager and studied at the University of Gloucestershire.
Barry Bodin-Jones said: “We’re set for an exciting investment and jobs boom in our region in the next 12 to 18 months, as businesses bounce back from the pandemic and look to the future. So I’m excited to be at the heart of helping them take that next step and shape their future, to make it an even more positive and prosperous place.”
Mark Price, managing director, Vitruvius, said: “We partner with companies to help them plan what they need in their built environment to unlock their growth, so it’s great to welcome Barry at such an exciting time. We’re already seeing real growth in Gloucestershire and the wider West of England region, and we’re also expanding as more and more companies look to reconfigure or expand, realising the benefits of getting dedicated, intelligent advice.”
Vitruvius successfully managed Gloucestershire Airport’s flagship CGX Connect business park from concept through to planning approval earlier this year. Mark and his team continue to help deliver growth for some of the area’s best-known names including Hartpury College and University, Cotteswold Dairy, Blackfriars Gloucester, and the Science Museum National Collection Centre near Swindon.
