Work experience student enjoys a week at Vitruvius

Vitruvius were delighted to be able to offer recent work experience to  Tobias, a student at Hartpury College, currently studying for his A Levels. Tobias has a keen interest in the construction sector, project management and architectural design. We were very happy to support Hartpury, as a key client, and positively give something back to help provide a positive experience to Tobias by showcasing the all-encompassing aspects that our organisation gets involved with.

Tobias was able to experience and observe project team meetings demonstrating collaborative working, he accompanied a visit to a client’s site so that design proposals could be discussed and finalised. We gave him an appreciation of a current construction project as part of a broader site re-development and provided a chance to spend time with an architect, giving the opportunity to appreciate and understand more about the day to day work and have first-hand knowledge of technical drawing and the amazing technology that is used to support the designs.  

We hope Tobias thoroughly enjoyed his time with us and are sure he will be keeping a close eye on the exciting developments that are taking place on campus at Hartpury University and College, that Vitruvius are helping deliver to support Hartpury’s longer-term vision and growth aspirations.
